Colors & Texture from Downtown Phoenix . pt 1 . A trip I paid for with Steem.

I woke up early after a late night of drinking and partying. I headed out into the morning Phoenix sun to walk some of the city and share the view with you on steemit.

I had planned on riding a motorcycle into town. I have been teaching improv, daytrading, working at CycleGear, and contributing to Steemit and Steemtrail when I can. It's a hustle for me and I do not begrudge another person's success. Although my life and belongings are humble compared to most, I am blessed and thankful for the journey. Because it makes it all the more rewarding when I tell you I was able to use over $200 worth of STEEM to pay for this trip. I have been trading on Poloniex and Bittrex and while I have usually powered up, I cashed in $400 in Altcoins and easily $200 in STEEM to help me pay for my travels to Phoenix. In Phoenix I was able to share my passion, which is live improv. I taught a large group and played with my 16 year group of veteran friends, The Reckoning. And I met hundreds of new improvisers living in the Southwest. I shared my new found community of steemit with them, but mostly we all shared our goals and accomplishments in improv. Improv and Steem, two vibrant and interesting communities whom i hope cooperate on some level some day. But this day that I took these photos, the festival was over, but before going home, I wanted to walk and appreciate some of the views around this little downtown in the desert. I know nothing about Phoenix, except it is lovely in the sun, of which it has plenty. I was supposed to motorcycle off at sundown on my way back east to St Louis. I was supposed to buckle my chin strap and don my rider gear and head out on a 900cc or bigger road warrior. But that is our next goal: To someday share a photo with you all of the motorcycle I buy with STEEM. Til then, I do appreciate every upvote, comment, follow, and resteem.
