I'm curious how they decide what to display in the public like that. Who thinks it up and has it made or do artists make these and then compete to have their art displayed? Do you know?

    These are a regular display they have been here since i moved to NYC as far as I remember, some change like the festive windows but these ones are probably a landmark now and will stay or at least I hope so
