The beauty of Dubrovnik

I consider words unnecessary when I tried to depict the beauty of this city with the shots I took 2 years ago on my road trip to Slovenia and Croatia. This was one of the moments when I can't find the right word, I only can only imprint the sense of walking through the streets for eternity.

Each street is like a book unread, each window and door have a story to tell.

Indeed it’s hard to imagine anyone becoming jaded by the city’s white limestone streets, baroque buildings and the endless shimmer of the Adriatic, or failing to be inspired by a walk along the ancient city walls that protected a civilized, sophisticated republic for centuries.

All pictures are taken with Canon EOS 20D &Tamron 24-70 mm f/2.8. Hope you will like them!

    Marvelous photos of this beautiful city Isabelle. Many years ago I was on vacation in Croatia, Makarska Riviera; also a very charming place. I just wish I had photos from there, but back in 80's it was not like today, lol.

    These are beautiful. Dubrovnik is on my list of places to go (there are too many, I want to go everywhere). Keep posting pictures of places you have been or are going :)
