Although a clump of these 'Wild Irises' may seem to bloom for a long time, each individual flower has a very short life ~ Only a day or two.
These two flowers would have only just opened ~ And with the coming of the cold dew, their desire to live to the fullest, for that one day, may have been even stronger. 🙏 🌾🙏
