Russell Falls Ferns
There are some places in this world where you really do feel like you have stepped back into a different epoch. Once a part of the supercontinent Gondwana, the Australian and Antarctic plates were the last of the major Gondwanan continental plates to split, 45 million years ago. The subsequent isolation of Tasmania from the mainland of Australia resulted in remnant temperate rainforest with an incredibly diverse range of species descended from stock once widespread across Gondwana.
Continental drift is much faster than people realize and the Australian continental plate, the fastest moving in the world, is currently moving to the north (with a slight clockwise rotation) at a rate of 7cm (2.7 inches) per year. This is has caused significant accuracy issues with the current fixed coordinate GPS satellite system in as little as two decades. Russell Falls, Mount Field National Park. Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, Tasmania, Australia.
I was going to put (Original Work) in the title; but I dont like how messy that is? Do you think it would help people select it? There seems so many people here on Steemit just pasting photos from the internet which don't belong to them its a little depressing.

So beautiful!
Thanks
What an amazing shot from Tassie, I love how the green moss melts with the long-exposure effect of the water! I really enjoyed Mt. Field when I visited in 2013.
Its a beautiful part of the planet !
It looks more real than real :) Well taken long exposure photography. Colors are so sharp.
Thanks. Appreciate the feedback.
Awesome shot!

You're welcome!
wow what a shot. nice photography.you are a great photographer.
Thanks. Too kind of you
Didn't know about the GPS inaccuracy, interesting... Do you know how far off it gets in the worst case?
And of course, very nice photo. I agree that putting original work in the title is messy. Having it in your short profile and the footer I think sends enough of the message.
I am not sure how far off it gets! Thanks for the feedback on the title. I think that way also; its too aggressive in the title.
Shit, this is so beautiful. But you are also the only one with a lightning shot. Why do make this so hard for me!
Thanks Julian. Appreciate that you run the photo contests here on Steemit. It has been a good way for me to get a foot into the community here. What are your thoughts on the launch of Appic next year?
This is very artistic. I really like long exposure of photographs. Nice share.
Thanks. ;-)
