Witch trousers made of living human skin, Necropants.

According to legend, the necropants could produce an endless stream of coins, if they were made in strict accordance with the rules.

To begin with, it was necessary to obtain permission from a living person to use his skin after death. After the burial the sorcerer had to dig out the body and remove the skin from it one piece from the waist to the bottom. Further, the magician placed the coin stolen from the poor widow in the scrotum along with a magic sign called nábrókarstafur, inscribed on paper.

It was believed that the scrotum necropants would never be empty from coins for as long as there would be a consecrated widow's coin.

Для начала, нужно было получить разрешение от живого человека на использование его кожи после смерти. После погребения колдун должен был выкопать тело и снять кожу с него одним куском от талии до самого низа. Далее маг помещал украденную у бедной вдовы монету в мошонку вместе с волшебным знаком, называемым nábrókarstafur , начертанном на бумаге.

Считалось,что мошонка necropants никогда не будет пустой от монет столько времени, сколько там будет находиться заговоренная вдовья монета .
