Beauty in the eye of the beholder...
These caught my attention while on our walk along the Regent's canal yesterday. I thought that these are the flowers themselves, and almost kneeling to take this I realised that they are the remnants of the flowers. Are they called the "ovaries"?
They're kind of cute on their own, having a darker shade of bluish purple. They can just be weeds with flowers I don't know. It would have been interesting to really see what its' flowers were like before.

Great shot tita! Those flowers are really stunning. Too bad they grew there. Well on the bright side, at least they grew beautifully.
No its good..even if the petals are almost gone, there's still an aesthetic beauty to it ;)
