Snapshots - 2017 - Retrospective
👆👉 November 2017, the day of the Athens Classic Marathon event. One more snapshot of the presidential guard in front of the Uknown Soldier's Monument. It's the ritual of the guard change, epic always and unique in the world!
👆👉 At the same time, behind the scene (of the first photo). It was the end of the Athens Classic Marathon event 2017, people were walking around, waiting for the last runners to arrive. The ambiance was fully festive and participants in the event, after reaching the finish line were dispersed in the city passing in front of the Uknown Soldier to enjoy the guard change parade. These two photos are part of a series of snapshots that I plan to include in a separate collection and print out an album. Thus, these photos are NOT included in #thecitytheory collection.

@imealien Looks like you used HDR on the last photo, or you got really lucky with the natural lighting outside.. Or maybe your really skillful.. probably the later :-)

PS: There is a bit of HDR, a bit of experience and a lot of splendid natural light downtown that day, probably because of the Athens Classic Marathon event which kicked out of the center city all kind of vehicles... Less pollution better natural light, I was really lucky that day! 👾
