Fish Sellers Stories in Aceh

Hi Everyone
I will show a picture of fish seller through this post. I am recording this photo at Idi fishery port, East Aceh district, Aceh province, Indonesia. Every morning you will see hundreds of fish sellers there who use motorcycles. They buy fish in the Idi fishing port, then sell to the people who inhabit the inland areas of East Aceh district.

They come from various regions and arrive at Idi fishing port at 6 am, after they buy fish from the fishermen there, they give ice to their fish in a box that is hung on a motorcycle. At 10 am, one by one they set out to sell fish to the villages.

Maiden 57 years old, he is a fish trader to the writer said, every day he can sell fish to the villages as much as 50 kg, and he will benefit every day IDR 100,000. The benefits he gets for his household needs.

Maiden and other fish sellers routinely work as fish sellers by motorbike to villages, they are off for 1 day a week on Friday. Because on Friday in Aceh Province, Indonesia. Fishermen are forbidden to go sailing.

Abuse of Aceh fishermen on Friday is prohibited to sail following the customary rules that have been set and have existed since time immemorial. The rule applies throughout Aceh Province, Indonesia.
