My Expensive HabitsteemCreated with Sketch.

On Monday a Mamiya c220 twin lens reflex camera arrived on my doorstep. Of course the first thing I did was pop in a roll of film. On Tuesday I took my kids for a fun day in Seattle and I quickly went through my first roll of film. I switched it and dropped the used roll at the print lab. $24 later, I realized I only had a few exposures left on my second roll but the lab was already closed for the day. Roll #2 was gone before the sun went down and I was wishing I had a third. Fast forward to Thursday evening and I had gone through a few more rolls and starting adding up lab fees....I may never be able to get this stuff processed. Well, maybe not never but I will have to be more careful about what shots I'm taking and what I let pass by. I am really excited to get that first roll back and see how I did. I can't wait to post them!

Post your pictures that you've been taking and after a while you will at least make enough here to pay for the fees, or start making a decent income! Best of luck :-)

I'm hoping that's what happens! I'm looking at the math....I've got 5 rolls, average of $20 for processing and we're looking at $100 just for what I've shot this week!

Your post is very useful for me. Thanks for sharing

That's awesome. I think people like me get spoiled with the "good enough " (not bad actually) photos we can take with our cell phones, then we end up missing the more quality ones like what you're doing. Please do share!

Probably 99% of the time I use my phone camera, I regret not using one of my "real" cameras.
