A Break

I should be inching towards the horizon
where the sun sets
and the sea meets the skies.

But after countless
nights of braving
raging seastorms,
here on this beach,
you anchoring me,
is a welcome respite.

Words and photo are mine. This pic was taken at Antonia Beach during my solo #travel last December in Gigantes Island in Iloilo.
