A glimpse of the Indian coutryside
Hello Steemers, some of you might know I belong from Assam, a North-eastern state in India. The main occupation of the people of Assam is cultivation. Last week I had been to the village where my father spent his childhood days. And here are some photographs of the busy Assamese people working in the field for their living. I mainly took these photographs to show my father as he couldn't be there for the last five years.
Boys enjoying looking for fishes in the fishing net they put in the morning. They come to play near in the field and take the fishes away in the evening. ;)
Man looking at the field as how much of his work yet to be done. He is resting a bit as of now.
His work is to fix the boundaries between two plots being ploughed by the tractor.
Waiting for the tractor to finish it's work to again start in his work.
Moving on here are few more pictures of busy farmers ploughing their fields.
We went all around the village and saw what was up there specially with the fields.
It was just wonderful to experience these all.
Well using tarctors in their works is not very old in this village. Only a decade ago, they took the help of bulls for plough works. But in these modern days they too are stepping to the Tractors. Still there are people in the village who cannot afford a tractor so they either plough by renting tractors or with the help of bulls.

This was the river by the village. Got some time out to spend here and it was more than awesome to enjoy the fresh breathe.

The scenery is very peaceful and relaxing. Even though things may be difficult at times it appears to be a nice place to have a peace of mind
