Tungnath is an ancient and highest lord Shiva temple in the world. Situated in Rudraprayag district in Uttarakhand, India.
Tungnath, the meaning of this word is "Lords of the peaks". As its name, this temple is located at 12,073 feet above from the sea level. Which makes this place unique. Surrounded by the Great Himalyas mountains.

Whenever you will visit here, you will feel something special. I have felt some strong energy every time whenever I visit here. There are much more things to know about Lord Shiva. As per Hindu mythology Lord Shiva and his consort Parvati both reside in the Himalayas, which is nearer to this place. Once you come here you be amazed to know about its history.
