Why Do You Live Where You Do?

I am asked this question every time someone sees we get 300 inches of snow.
This is what makes putting up with 8 or 9 months of winter worth it! Just a standard sunset in Upper Michigan!

    No. I didn't get a choice. I would have preferred to stay in Norway or Germany, but couldn't get the permit. Still, if I am going to live in Canada, Quebec is a the best place to be - though I'd like to be living way up in northern Quebec.

    No really. Finance has left me with no choice. I'd love to be travelling round the world.. Don't even want to live anywhere permanently. 😂
