I left off right where it looked like these boats were going to collide! Fortunately they avoided disaster but it looked like a close call.

It is a close race as the boats approach the marker buoy.

Then suddenly they drift farther apart!

Don't forget about the little guys!

The wind seems to be picking up a bit.

Both crews are making quick adjustments to the sails.

This is one of my favorite shots of the whole series.

They are almost there!

Now it's time to make a sharp turn to cut off the competition.

It looks like we have a new leader.

Now the race isn't quite over yet.

It appears there are 12 people aboard the "Bustin Loose" crew. They are changing the sails rapidly.

Not so fast!

Bustin Loose just got passed up now.

After a few more minutes all of the little guys started to make it around the buoy too.

These smaller ones only need a crew of 2 or 3 people.

They have some really colorful sails that help to distinguish one from another.

Each also has its own unique number on the sail.

These boats really have an 80's feel to them don't they?

There are many other boats still rounding the bend.

I can't help but point out that the boat on the left is named "Shazam".

The view as I begin to leave. These are the remnants of the oldest cannery in this City.
