What I still have for you today, is something I am not so sure in which section it is best to be lifted. I once realized (it was one of those days when I was plan and aimless in search of motifs) that no matter where I was, there was always an object that glimmered in a brownish color. Yes it was rust! On closer inspection, however, I realized that rust is not equal to rust. Neither the color nor the condition was always the same, which fascinated me again and I began to photograph this vile rust. At first somewhat hesitant, always mindful of what curious observers might think of me when I squatted in front of a rusted fence and photographed. As time went by, I found the rust was available in countless ways. In addition, my view and also my angle of view in the rust photography changed. From the initial overall recordings, I went more and more to detail photography. Partially, I had to establish how unstable rust can be, although he was once made of high-gloss and unbendable steel. This experience reminded me of myself as a man. With 18 years Powerful and unyielding, but today with over 40, the body slowly begins to get into the years. The back aches and one is by far not as fast and agile as before. On the spot a saying which my grandfather always attached, "God preserve my health and the labor of my wife". But back to the rust, which still fascinates me today, because he is the ruthless of the nature is mercilessly exposed and constantly changing. Rost of today will already be another tomorrow. was ich heute noch für euch habe, ist etwas bei dem ich mir nicht so sicher bin, in welcher Rubrik es am besten Aufgehoben ist. Ich habe irgendwann einmal festgestellt (es war einer dieser Tage an denen ich Plan und Ziellos auf der Suche nach Motiven war), dass mir egal wo ich mich auch befand immer ein Gegenstand da war, welcher in einer bräunlichen Farbe schimmerte. Ja es war Rost! Bei näherer Betrachtung stellte ich aber Fest, dass Rost nicht gleich Rost ist. Weder der Farbton noch der Zustand war immer gleich, was mich wiederum faszinierte und ich begann damit diesen schnöden Rost zu Fotografieren. Anfangs etwas zögerlich, auch immer darauf bedacht was wohl neugierige Beobachter davon halten könnten, wenn ich vor einem verrosteten Zaun hockte und Fotografierte. Mit der Zeit stellte ich fest, das Rost quasi in unzähligen Arten vorhanden war. Dazu kam, dass sich mein Blick und auch mein Blickwinkel bei der Rost Fotografie veränderte. Von anfänglichen gesamt Aufnahmen begab ich mich immer mehr hin zur Detail Fotografie. Teilweise musste ich feststellen wie unstabil Rost doch sein kann, obwohl er irgendwann einmal aus Hochglänzendem und unbeugsamen Stahl bestand. Erinnert hat mich dieses Erlebnis an mich als Mensch. Mit 18 Jahren Kraftvoll und unbeugsam, doch heute mit über 40 fängt der Körper langsam an in die Jahre zu kommen. Der Rücken schmerzt und man ist bei weitem nicht mehr so flink und beweglich wie früher. An der Stelle ein Spruch welcher mein Opa immer anbrachte, „Gott erhalte meine Gesundheit und die Arbeitskraft meiner Frau“. Aber zurück zum Rost, der mich heute immer noch fasziniert, weil er den gesetzten der Natur schonungslos ausgeliefert ist und sich stetig verändert. Rost von heute wird morgen bereits ein anderer sein. Was ich euch heute hier zeige ist nur ein Bruchteil dessen was auf meinen Festplatten noch an Bildern zum Thema Rost lagert. Also viel Spass beim betrachten der Bilder und vielleicht entdeckt ihr für euch auch die Faszination für Rost.
