Ivory White-Marble, "The Taj Mahal"

in #photography6 years ago

Taj Mahal means in English is "Crown of Palaces", is a 8th wonder of the world make by white-marble on right bank of Yamuna river, located in the famous city of India Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan. The tomb is the centerpiece of a 17-hectare complex, which includes a mosque and a guest house, and is set in formal gardens bounded on three sides by a crenellated wall.
I have visited this monument in 2008 with my two other friends when I was in college. It was a road trip, enjoyed a lot but it was hot hot out there as we went there in peak summers.
