There is a building, I mean a palace, in Montevideo, Uruguay, is one of my favorites and it has a brother almost identically in Buenos Aires called Barolo Palace. They're like twins, but with little variations.

Just consider the time.To see the bird flying in the sky ,Leonardo da Vinci firstly make a plan and design the catalog for flying machine like flapping ornithopter and machine with a helical rotor.That was just the evoluation and today's helicopter is the digitalization .
So i think it's better not to compare with old one.
Yes, but I don't know where you live. But here, in Buenos Aires and Montevideo, quality, design and usefulness is by far not as good conceived like this marvelous old structures.
