My 1920's Antique Gas Stove
In 2015 my husband surprised me with this antique stove. He knows I love anything vintage and knew it was perfect. We installed it on our covered back porch, inspected its gaslines, and hooked her up. Lo and behold everything worked!

I have used this baby for two summers now as my sole means of cooking. It works perfectly and doesn't heat my house to 100°! I even use it in the winter when we run out of propane for the regular stove in the house.
I am hoping to learn to can my own vegtables and really put this beauty to work! Thanks for looking!
That's a really nice example of one of those stoves, it looks like it's in really good condition. I only could see a few chips in the enamel. Some of these that I've seen are in rough condition cosmetically.

@hethur240 That is a beautiful stove. Do you run it on propane? I'm currently looking for one to install on our carport along side my rocket stove. By the way, canning is really easy. For some easy how to's check out my posts. I've put up over 100 jars of food so far since the 15th of July. and Yes, I'm still at it.
Thank you, @katrdansyng. That is a lot of canning! Yes, it runs on propane. All the lines are cast iron. We just hook a small bbq sized bottle to it. I'm going to check out your posts!

I tried to comment on this a couple days ago, but our internet connection has been total crap. But I have been super envious of this ever since you got it! It's beautiful! If you want to do some canning, let me know; I'd love to join you! I have an extra pressure cooker I can bring out :)
Wow! What a treasure! That still looks new. Back then people made things with true craftsmanship so it will last, unlike today's cheap products to Kat usually no more then a year aka consumerism.
We are definitely a "throw away" culture.
