The Karlsfelder See in Karlsfeld near Dachau near Munich is an excavated lake, as you can clearly conclude:
We had temperatures above 10°C, almost springtime. Definitely no deep ice on this lake. That's probably why all the birds came and enjoyed it.
Well, in reality, it was for rather human-caused reasons of course.

Hosted on IPFS. There are browser plugins that will enable retrieval of these images from your local node, instead of the public ipfs.io web gateway, if you have the IPFS daemon installed and running. You'll also be able to just point your browser to your localhost url http://localhost:8080/ipns/herzmeister.me/ to browse my shared stuff. You'll find the source files of my images (raw .dng versions, and .pp3 and .png files if edited), as well as unused shots there.
That is cool - I did a similar post yesterday with birds at a lake and have tons of birds at lakes pics still in stock lol - what lake in Bavaria is this?
