I Came Back From My Hometown

I came back from my hometown and spent two days there because of the Dragon Boat Festival and Holidays. It took us about 2 hours to drive there.
These photos were taken in my parents' courtyard. There are a few fruit trees in their yard, such as these wild grape trees, now have born a lot of fruits. In autumn, these ripe fruits will be made into delicious wine. We all like the taste of wine. This wine has an altogether stronger, more pronounced flavour than other grape wine.

The jujube tree

Apricot tree has born many green apricot, and they are not ripe yet. It still need about one month.

My mother planted many Chinese roses , many flowers have withered away, I only found one flower is in full bloom, and other fresh green leafy organic vegetables.

Next morning, my mother went to morning market with me. Going to morning market has been many people's habit in here.
I haven't came here for a long time. So I wanted to go very much..
Because it's a holiday now, there is a very strong Festival atmosphere on the morning market..

In ancient times, the ancients think that May is a bad month. Because the weather is very hot in the south of China, it rained more and more, a sudden flood is unleashed from the mountains. people often bind gourd around their waist in order to seek survival. So the gourd is called " Yaozhou" which is the meaning of "empty gourd tied to the waist as a lifejacket“.
Since its special performance, people began to adore it. Later, there is a custom of hanging gourd on the door in every house at the Dragon Boat Festival. So people think it can bring good luck to you.

lastly, we bought a red gourd and yellow gold ingot.
