A month ago, summer was over here north, and winter is coming. These pictures are taken from our veranda, a beautiful evening in September. The midnight sun as we see here in the north of the summer months was below the horizon, but these pictures were taken at about nine o'clock in the evening. It's the last rays of the sun on a beautiful autumn night, and now the sun is soon under the horizon and darkness begins. North Norway is my place where my heart is and we here in the north are very lucky to have these changing seasons, even though the winter is long and summer too short.
