This IS NOT A Stone (#52)
In the attention they draw on themselves, they are things on their own, autonomous and themselves sufficient. That's beautiful. It made me think of the pebbles of Johannes Chrysostomos, which he rolled around in his mouth to teach himself how to speak. A fine symbolic story, since thoughts have to go around before they can be expressed in language.
