This IS NOT A Stone (#5)

As a proud son I feel obliged to help my father spread his work online offering him the opportunity to find the audience that can fully appreciate and understand the basic idea behind his project. I realise the odd contradictio in terminis of my action. But hey, isn't that just great?

Fine Artist
Jan van Krieken van Huessen (Deventer, The Netherlands, 17th August, 1942) is an independent Dutch fine artist who lives and works in Huissen (The Netherlands), near Arnhem. Time, Alchemy and Zen are important themes converging in the choise for a glacial stone in the pond of his garden as the source of inspiration for his work.

Van Krieken van Huessen
Because of the existence of another artist by the name of Jan van Krieken (living in Tilburg) Jan now signs his work with Jan van Krieken Van Huessen (since November 4, 2001; the opening of their joint exhibition that was called “What’s In A Name?”).
