The first group is the Lymantridae family caterpillar. This is what the ordinary people called the caterpillar.
The caterpillar has a feather with a pointed tip. When it falls on the surface of the human skin, its tip will break and enter the pores.
The second group is a caterpillar with feathers that are thicker and sharper. The caterpillar group is classified in the Lasiocampidae family.
"The fur besides thicker also resembles a saw blade, if it touches, it feels more itchy than regular caterpillars," explained Hari.
The third group is the one that has the most severe effect, the Limacodidae. The family is commonly referred to as a caterpillar fire.
Limacodidae is capable of causing more sensation of itching and itching due to injecting histamine toxins. In the skin, toxins trigger inflammation. the itchy effect of caterpillars is actually local. If only the hands are affected, then only the hands are itchy.
