Koompassia excelsa
The picture of the sialang tree that we shared in this post was taken with a smartphone camera at Simpang Keuramat, North Aceh Regency. This tropical rainforest tree is about 30 meters high.
The sialang tree with the Latin name Koompassia excelsa is a type of plant included in the Johar-joharan tribe. width and maximum height reaches 88 meters, bark white gray. Compound leaves, consisting of 9-30 leaf children and shuffling alternately. This tree has large roots to support its weight.
