First off, thanks for your interest in my work and in getting your pilots license! That is part of the reason I do this - to hopefully inspire folks into getting their license so that they may experience these places themselves! So yehaw!!
Getting your pilots license is not difficult, depending on where you live there are usually small airports around with private instructors. The process is somewhat simple beginning with ground school, then hands on flight instruction followed by solo flights and a number of check rides and ending with your final check ride with an FAA examiner.
