Giant Labyrinth Grand Bazaar

Hi Steemians again:)

I want to share some photos of the Grand Bazaar which located in heart of the Istanbul..Before sharing photos let me say something about this great structure..

It was built in 1464 by order of the Fatih Sultan Mehmet who is known “ Conqueror” in history of Ottoman Empire for needs of the city of Istanbul..

Today it is one of the biggest covered market in the entire world.With literally thousands of shops selling everything from t-shirts and leather jackets to expensive jewelery,antiques.Grand Bazaar has more things for sale than you can imagine.

It has a lot of doors and you can easily get lost while you are looking the shops,this is the one of the door of Grand Bazaar :)

By the way remember that all the prices quoted by the merchants are negotiable😉

You can easily spend half of the day or more while you are visiting,there are about 3600 shops in it and 60 streets in it:)

Although it lost its characteristic today it is most crowded places and oldest shopping centre in İstanbul I think...
