Interesting mushrooms on trees in the forest. Part 1.

Today I went to the forest for a walk. It was interesting to see the different fungi on trees. I was very surprised. Mushrooms were many and they were different. It was pore fungi. They grew up on stumps or dead trees. These mushrooms grow all year.

Daedaleopsis confragosa. These fungi grow on the stump of an old and interesting at the bottom.

And it's another dead tree covered with pore fungi.

That is a great photo series! It really show how we need to look underneath the bracket fungus. They are not all the same -- and there can be some real surprises!
