The unsettling beauty of Mammatus Clouds
I captured these Mammatus Clouds 2008 in Slovakia. I've never seen clouds like this before so I was quite excited about this phenomena and it even gave me inspiration for this painting: https://steemit.com/art/@gric/cataclysm-ii-acrylic-oil-on-board-original-painting
Here I modified the photo with a filter to enhance the phenomena.
These here I took last year here in Lower Austria. Not that spectacular as the previous ones but the golden hour gave it a different magic.
The sky provides endless entertainment. The Mammatus clouds fascinating. I should dig through my own cloud photos. I even have the ones that look like waves in row.
Creations of nature are more perfect than works of art.
