Einfach irre gut.

Very Good post @gric, I really liked it, thanks
@racoo
Thanks!
Nice pics, I probably need to try to do more exhibits. SO far I've never done anything with a gallery, I'm planning on creating some bigger more impactful pieces this year.
@adammillwardart
Just don't get tricked into paying for having an exhibition. If they ask you to pay a fee then they have no interest or even the possibility to sell your art. A professional gallery lives from the percentage of their sales which can by anything between 30 - 50%.
Solid advice. A lot of galleries in Montreal are pay to display but like you said they are not great, they rely more on tourist foot traffic and impulse buys, not building a solid local client/collector base. I had stayed away from galleries at first mainly because I was selling enough on my own thanks to FB, but also I heard so many horror stories of artists not getting paid by galleries, galleries closing before a show, galleries making the artist do all the promotion and actual setup etc... but now I've been around long enough to know those were simply not reputable galleries. Better to be able to approach a reputable gallery with "I've sold 300 paintings to collectors in 26 countries on my own using social media" than "I had a show at a gallery that doesn't exist anymore and I sold one painting but never got paid" lol
Wow... I didn't realise some of them were so big. It's good to see your works in their "natural habitat" lol :)
Yeah, I have either miniatures or big canvases and nothing much in-between! :-)
maybe one day you open your Turkiye also be a chance to see an exhibition and work closely :) I wish it!
I don't know, maybe one day...
Incredibly beautiful exibition, @gric. Oh, how can I get there!!?
Thanks @yurche but I don't understand your question - I'm not having any substantial exhibition right now, these photos are all from past shows.
Oh, sorry it is pity
Really amazing collection of art. The piece of art in the fifth picture was easily my favorite. Caught my attention right away as I was scrolling.
Thanks @snrm!
