Question arises... Why should I rent this island if I can just go there, pitch a tent and enjoy? No one looks for me in the middle of the forest :D Great shots by the way!
The answer is simple - lake is in lease of private person, who take care about fish stocking (not sure if its right word) so from time to time he just patrol the lake and also have some people who do it for him, fishing in this lake without paid permission is forbidden.
This is very good situation in fact - even if You have to pay for fishing - tanks to that fish stocking, lake finally came back to life. Before, 10-15 years ago, when the lake had nobody to take care of it, it was completely exploited by locals - this is small water tank and without normalized usage - it is getting depleted very fast.
In Poland - when something is not protected - it is being simply destroyed, because nobody cares about good, natural, stable ecosystems and environment, all they want is to free food source, and very often they use electricity when fishing - killing not only fishes but all the life in the water... sad but true.
Oh damn, that is pretty sad indeed.
