Wow, that's pretty wild they invited you along. I have a friend here in Thailand that was a circus clown for some operation (don't know if it is this one) for a very long portion of his life. The crazy thing about this guy is that he is rather reserved and introverted but for however many nights in a row he would go out in front of hundreds (thousands?) of people and purposely act a fool.
He has some great stories about traveling with the circus and I recall being quite excited when we would go to one when i was a kid. It is a shame that the interest died in these sorts of things, but i suppose it was always going to happen.

One of my friends was the GM on that show. He gave me a call one day and asked if I wanted to help. When the Circus calls, you can't say no! :D
A lot of performers are introverts. The stage gives a way for people to become someone new, a voice... its a magical thing. When I make it back to Thailand (*Hope I do, for Steemfest but funds have gotten very tight in the last week), I would love to connect with them, and you to hear some stores over a Bintang!
