Carnal Nature
The ocean tides; timeless--
spewing briny, refreshing mist--
melt into the glistening rocky sea bank
a reflective shiver, turquoise kissed.

Such deep, foreboding island water,
slightly aglow from campfire flame.
Earthly elements blend with trust,
knowing carnal nature, whence they came.

Lively lemon yellow surf side fire
feeding on sacrificial dry, oak wood;
warming the vivid aqua of the night,
focused only on islet beauty and good
