The name of the dessert I'm talking about is called "Pumpkin Dessert". It is very popular in Turkey, the country where I live.
When I saw the zucchini used in its production at the market, my friends and I decided to make it over a weekend. The dessert is a bit difficult to make, but its taste is worth it.
First of all, we peel the outer shell, cut it into cubes and fill it into containers.
Then this place is important. If you can, if there is lime soil around you, you can soak it in water, filter it and leave it in the lime water for a while. This ensures that the dessert is slightly hard and crunchy when finished, otherwise it will be a little soft.
Now we can move on to the cooking part. We boil it in a pot with the addition of approximately its own weight of sugar.
After our finished dessert has rested for a while, we can place it on the plates and serve it.
