Muxxy Saves a Dragonfly
Although overcast, the temperature where I live in England is 23C / 73F with a humidity of 66%. What this calls for is a soak in the hot tub later this evening. So Ms. Muxx and I started getting it ready and I have just been out to check it. I found this little fella doing a backstroke.
He seems to be missing two of his wings, poor thing.
Nonetheless, I gently placed him on the trampoline netting to dry out.

Aww! Poor little guy. I'm glad you helped him out of the hot tub. I doubt he would get as much benefit from it as you. :-)

He does seem to be a bit rough. I wonder how a dragonfly with only two wings would fly? Maybe he'd just cartwheel through the air. At least he has a wing on each side, instead of two on just one side.
