Georgian Fairytales nr.1 - Where is this street heading mate?

It was just before my lunchtime at about 2 pm when the phone went 'ding'. It was Faiz. He wants to meet. Business as usual.

So typical, just when I was getting ready to make some work done...well I guess that will have to wait than. Our meeting point is at the Liberty Square. One of the most iconic places for modern Georgian history.

Although Tbilisi should be on the same geographical grid like Barcelona, I can't help the feeling of cold breeze running through the city streets every time the sun goes down. It's the mountains nearby. They still have snowy peaks and frosty roads.

Luckily the hills in the city has their white days long gone...

But today is different. We feel warm and happy about seeing people out in the streets again. Dogs are out too, well here they are always out it's street dogs.

Everything closed it's a lockdown. Just few small supermarkets to get the basic needs. And so we do, beer and coke. Here we go - happy days, like this family pictured by some local 'Banksy'.
