Gestern Abend lief mir dieser Feuerkäfer über den Weg.Normalerweise treten sie immer in Schaaren auf doch diesmal war es nur einer.Bei näherer Betrachtung fiel mir auf das er ein tolles Muster auf dem Rücken trägt.Ich finde das sieht aus wie ein Gesicht oder eine Indianische Kriegsbemalung.
Was sagt ihr?Lasst eurer Fantasie freien Lauf.
Last Evening I ran this firebug over the way. Usually they always appear in crowds but this time it was only one. On closer inspection, I noticed that he carries a great pattern on his back. I think this looks like a face or a Indian War Memorial.

Is there a reason its called a fire beetle? I wish we got bugs as nice as that! Are nicest i think are maybe the dragon flies we get round the lakes or the butterflies. I want to go on a bug hunt now haha! I also like the birds we get in our country sides :)
I do not know why it is called fire beetle .. maybe because of the red color. I am curious about what you bring us from your tour for great pictures.

Ich muss da auch an indianische Kriegsbemalung oder einen Totempfahl denken.
Mein Sohn sammelt sie gerne und nennt sie Feuerwanzen.
