Photography is an art that not many people are blessed with, but we all click photos, right? Even on every small occasion, we flush our gallery with photos and videos. But it happens on very few occasions that we manage to get a perfect click. The fact that great photos not only create great memories but they live with us for the whole of our lives as a happy memory, hence it should look great.
Lots of people do believe that only DSLRs can do wonders in photography and it is necessary to have them in order to take good images. But, I partially agree with the same because the smartphone's camera (if used properly) can do wonders.

Don't use filters, try to take the image in its original form because filter adds a layer over the image in a uniform way which results in picture losing its identity. Instead of using filters, take pictures in normal mode and then edit them via mobile apps like Snapseed, Pixlr, etc. Photo editing apps provide a better way to edit image pixel wise.

It degrades the image quality and adds a lot of noise in the image.

The HDR mode may take a second to capture the picture.

But the color correction and detailing is better than what we see in normal mode.

Flash actually results in over exposing the image.

So, it's better to take pictures without flash.

Keeping the lens clear can really step up the image game.

A dirty lens will add lots of distraction in the image.

Try to take multiple shots of a particular moment rather than taking a single shot.

This will give you an advantage for separating the bad images later on and saving the good ones.
