Surreal Landscape with Railroad Tracks (2014-09-19 12-32-55b)

The photo was taken near the Metra right-of-way at 116th Street in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. The original photo was taken with a Nikon Coolpix P7700 camera.

I combined two different techniques for this composite image, both of them utilizing Affinity Photo 1.5. I took a photo of some trees along the Metra tracks in a rural section of southeast Wisconsin and used a technique to emulate an infrared photo. After finishing with that I took a photo of Saturn taken by NASA's Cassini space probe shortly before crashing into Saturn and used it to replace the sky in the photo.
