말 그릇이 큰 사람들은 공간이 충분해서
다른 사람의 말을 끝까지 듣고 받아들인다.

조급하거나 야박하게
굴지 않아도 되기 때문에

'그게 아니라'
'너는 모르겠지만',
'내 말 좀 들어봐.' 하며
상대의 말을 자르고 껴들지 않는다.

오히려 '그랬구나.', '더 말해봐.',
'네 생각은 어때.'라고 하면서
상대방의 입을 더 열게 만든다.

그것이 상대방의 불안함을 낯추고
마음을 열게 만든다.

그래서 사람들은 말 그릇이
큰 사람과 대화할 때 편안함을 느낀다.
