Pilares de Nacozari, a mining town that shone

In 1897 a mining town was founded by lumberjacks when they found natural metal deposit. It was prosper town for many years. In 1940 the mine was burned, which brought crisis to the mine and progress stopped definetively, People from Nacozari did a visit to Pilares to know what had happen.

After the incident, people didn't leave town, they kept their houses and lives there. The most of people working in this mine were chinese.

The town remained as touristic and calm place. In 2000's people left definetively the town, just 3 people stay today  in the town. I just wanted to resume it and show some pictures.
