Rottnest Island e' un' Isola situata a circa 18 Km dalla costa di Perth sull'Oceano Indiano.

L'isola e' facilmente raggiungibile con traghetti giornalieri che partono da Fremantle e Hillarys.

Rottnest Island e' meta di turisti durante tutto l'anno. L' affluenza annua e' di circa 500.000 persone l'anno.

Essa presenta innumerevoli spiagge e baie incontaminate con sabbia bianca e fondali poco profondi adatti allo snorkeling.
