Fishing with Kids
A couple of weekends ago I managed to sneak away from the real world to spend some time outdoors fishing with my 11 year old daughter. It was an awesome experience! We both had success in catching some fish.
She was thrilled to hook this decent sized Sunfish (also often called Bluegill). Although she enjoys fishing, admittedly she's not very fond of handling fish with her bare hands. Not to worry, It'll grow on her I'm sure.
Although it was big for a sunfish we decide to throw him back to live another day. Our sights were set on much bigger Bass and Trout.
Do you have children of your own? Is it time to spend some quality time with them again?
