Ultraviolet fluorescence photography experiment #8
These annuals come in various colors, this one is a mixture of pink and purple.
Using the extra close setting on my macro lens I could get good shots of the anthers and pollen sacs. There is a blueish glow coming from the center of the flower, interesting...
A little blurry but still I wanted to include.
That green spot is a bug.
I like the inner band in the flower and how jagged the flower petals are.
Lastly two comparing blacklight and normal light to see what the flower looks like in normal circumstances.
Blacklight is so lit. Love the comparison. This flower looks amazing, again. The first three pictures are lit. And the bug of course too haha.
This one is glowing pretty strong (or maybe just reflection?).
It sure is, im loving it.
Good point! Its probably due to the position of where im taking the photo. In this one I am taking a picture underneath the flower, the others im taking a picture from the top or on the same level as the flower. So I would think the strong reflection is the UV penetrating through the flower.. Like if you put a flashlight over your finger it lights up your blood.. Just a guess.
McDonald's, I'm lovin' it. :D jk
Alright, could be true. Seems legit.
Photo flowers looks more interesting photos with different colors
Maybe ill do some groupings in the future with different flowers and colors together.. thanks for the tip.
