Hadimba Temple

Hadimba Devi temple is famous in Manali, indeed it attracts many tourists round the year. According to the history, it is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, wife of Bhima. Bhima has a great place in Indian History, very well described in Indian Epic Mahabharat.
This temple also has a very rich history. You can get to know about the Godness, her story of journey towards Himalayas for penance, how she acquired supernatural powers, how lovingly blessing to the people in the region. Dhungri festival is an annual event attended by the people around Manali and also across Himachal Pradesh.
If you ever happen to visit Manali, do visit this place.
