In 2011, visited Belgorod oblast (Russia). This place contains many temples and monuments. Here is one of them.
The Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, built on public donations for the 50th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war of 1941-45 in memory of those killed in the tank battle at Prokhorovka 12 July 1943
Made of stone. Architect Sokolov D. S., engineer, Popov E. N., designer — Belov, S. A. the Temple is crowned with three heads and combined with a bell tower in a single unit. The peculiarity of this temple is that the marble slabs are carved the names of 7 of thousands of soldiers who died in the battle of Prokhorovka. Thank you for attention !
