The lawns of Cambridge University were dug up recently by Extinction Rebellion with the word “oil” engraved into their pristine lawn. The University has investments in fossil fuels and has been targeted as a result. Most of the property and land in the centre of Cambridge is owned by the various colleges that make up the university.
There was a lively atmosphere in the city today with most of it cordoned off for a half marathon through the city centre. Chinese tourists were conspicuously absent whereas they usually arrive by the coach load.
We spotted this tiny doorway which appears to belong to Mr D. Mon who has a pitch fork. He must be the size of a mouse 😆
