The everglades are beautiful! Happens to be in my backyard lol we see gators all the time sunning themselves by the lake. A little shocking but you get used to it! cool post :)

Wow, that's awesome :) Believe you that it can make you feel a bit uncomfortable but like you said they've been chilling in the sun and seemed peaceful.
