The passion fruit is a crazy creeper and will soon outgrow the support stand and spread. It also absorbs the nutrients from the soil so much that other plants are soon left with next to nothing. This plant has overshadowed our Roseapple tree which does not have the strength to produce fruits now. We keep thinking of cutting the creeper but seeing that these fruits are beneficial for health, we just leave it. We have cut down a few creepers that grew wild and blocked our path.
